Your senior year in high school is an exciting time in your life. You’re growing in your independence, getting ready for college, preparing for the trades or a job, or entering the military—you are stepping into a completely new and exciting time in your life. Outside of the tradition of having your photo appear in the yearbook, this is the perfect time to document the young man or woman you have become over the years through a professional senior portrait.

When you select Smits Photography for your senior portrait, you get the following:

Up to two hours with up to three outfit changes at both studio and outdoor locations.

Proof thumbnails and a CD/DVD slide show of digitally-captured images indexed for easy ordering ready within 2-3 weeks of your sitting date.

Professional portfolio containing eight of our favorite poses that you get to keep to display in your home.

Senior Portrait Pricing

Any reproduction, paper or electronic (including personal or professional scanning), is strictly prohibited.

Sitting Fee: $150.00

There is a $150.00 sitting fee for senior portrait sessions. Senior Portraits with Smits Photography work like this:

Call or E-mail us to schedule your sitting date, time, and location(s).

Arrive to your sitting prepared with up to three outfits that reflect your personal style as well as any props that represent your personality or interests (sports jerseys and equipment, musical instruments, pets, vehicles, whatever works for you!). The sitting fee of $150.00 is due upon completion of your sitting.

Relax and have a great time as we capture what you’re all about. Within 2-3 weeks of your sitting date, we will have a package containing indexed proof thumbnails and a CD/DVD slide show from which you can view and order your proofs.

Finally, order what suits you!

We do have a number of senior portrait packages from which to choose—each is packaged to provide a slight discount from ordering the same
portrait prints individually.

Gold Package: $195.00

Choose unlimited poses from your proof set and get the following color portraits:

Silver Package: $115.00

Choose up to two poses from your proof set and get the following color portraits:

Two 8x10s

Four 5x7s

Bronze Package: $65.00

Choose one pose from your proof set and get the following color portraits:

We do allow substitutions on the packages, but there may be a change in pricing. Just talk to us about what you’d like to do and we’ll accommodate your request as best as we can.

Wallet Special: $60.00

If your order totals $65.00 or more, then you are then eligible to purchase the Wallet Special. You get 50 wallets of up to two poses at this discounted price. Must order in sets of 2s.

You can have wallets personalized with your name and graduation year for a rate of $15.00 for each image you wish to personalize.

Graduation Announcements
We can customize a greeting card announcement for your graduation open house—just ask! If you are interested, please ask for card options and pricing. All greeting cards come with white envelopes.

Clothing
When scheduling your senior portrait sitting, please let us know what outfits and props you are planning on using so that we can best prepare for your session. We will consult with you on clothing options if you are not sure what to wear.

Sittings
We prefer to schedule senior portraits during the spring, summer, and fall months where we can utilize some interesting outdoor settings. We have a number of settings we like to use, but if you have a favorite, we’ll go there, too! If only indoor portraits are requested, we can schedule those at any time during the year.

Yearbooks
Many school yearbooks require you to utilize their contracted photographer to be included in the yearbook, but others do not make that requirement. If you would like your Smits Photography senior portrait included in your school yearbook, we are happy to provide you with a letter of permission to your yearbook publisher to print our work—just ask for one!

Digital Retouching
Digital retouching can be done for an additional fee. We will automatically correct anything that was beyond our control. However, corrections such as softening of facial lines, removing blemishes or unwanted marks, removing glass glare, eye swaps, and the like are available for $15.00 for each type of correction per image.

Payment and Pricing
Smits Photography accepts cash and personal checks (made payable to “Smits Photography”). Your $150.00 sitting fee is due at the conclusion of your sitting. When you prepare your order, full payment is due upon placing your order. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices include applicable sales tax.
